Call for Participation – IETM Plenary Meeting Artistic Program
Call for Participation – IETM Plenary Meeting Artistic Program
From May 15th to 17th 2025, the IETM Plenary Meeting will take place in Berlin, bringing together several hundred guests from Germany and abroad. The Plenary Meeting offers many opportunities to make new connections and network. Titled REHEARSING FUTURES, the plenary will offer a rich and exciting program for practitioners in the performing arts.
We would like to present the international audience the vibrant and diverse performing arts scene of Berlin and are putting together recommendations for an artistic program. If you have programmed productions between May 14 to 18, 2025 that meet the following criteria, let us know!
An international audience with an interest in making new contacts awaits the selected productions and hopefully potential future co-production partners will be among the IETM Plenary attendees. (Each production will receive 2 accreditations for the entire Plenary Meeting from 15-17 May 2025).
We are looking for productions that
-
that are scheduled to take place between May 14 and 18, 2025
-
focus on one of the following topics: social change, sustainability, digitality
-
make visible and tangible how the performing arts create meaningful insights in these areas,
-
contribute positive impulses in the light of REHEARSING FUTURES and
-
which are shown either without language, in English or with English surtitles/subtitles,
-
for which a contingent of reduced tickets for IETM visitors can be blocked until 5 May 2025.
We are especially looking forward to productions that offer a stage for queer, BIPOC and/or FLINTA perspectives. Productions for children and young people are of course also welcome.
We need (in English) the following information:
-
Place and time
-
Production description (max. 3000 characters) or the link to your program,
-
Link to Video/photos if already available
-
Information on language and accessibility
-
Information on the size of a possible (reduced) ticket allocation.
